Outreach Team
The Outreach team reaches out to our greater community and the world in real and meaningful way. By reaching out to and becoming involved in our community we can help strengthen our relationship with God. The outreach team meets to plan events and activities. Current events include Family Movie Nights (See announcements for details), Each year during Lent we run our 40 days of Lent calendar which encourages people to collect one item of food for each of the 40 days of lent to be donated to the Guilderland food pantry. Buckets of Hope is another one of our annual activities in which we collect large buckets with sponges, clothespins, garbage bags, hand sanitizer and other necessary items to go to victims of flooding throughout the world. We also participate in National Night out which is an annual community building campaign that promotes police-community and neighborhood camaraderie.
